In addition to the monthly meetings held on the second Tuesday of each month (except January) at the Gosford City Arts Centre, 36 Webb Street, East Gosford:

BONSAI SHOWS
We usually hold two shows a year. In September we have a marquee at the Australian Springtime Flora Festival at Mt Penang and we have our Annual Show in November at the Gosford City Arts Centre.

MONTHLY COMPETITION
An interesting aspect of the monthly meetings is the Monthly Bench Show Competition where members have an opportunity to display trees. This  is arranged in progressive levels and special categories. The levels, through which an individual may progress over the years, are Novice, Intermediate and Advanced.
The special categories are Kindergarten and Style.

WORKSHOPS
A number of meetings each year are workshops where you can bring your trees to work on with the assistance of a tutor. We also aim to have one or two demonstrations and workshop days on a Saturday or Sunday.

LIBRARY
Books and magazines on bonsai and related topics are available for you to borrow. There are also Bonsai magazines and newsletters from other clubs. The books are borrowed at the monthly meetings where our librarian will help you to check out and return books. The borrowing period is one month. New books are added from time to time and we welcome donations.

MONTHLY MAGAZINE
The Bonsai Society of the Central Coast publishes a monthly magazine 'Bonsai Central Coast’ which members receive as part of their membership. It is a 20 page publication of bonsai news, upcoming events, jobs for the month and other articles related to bonsai.
